Cottage Rescue is also a private home, and so we operate on an appointment only basis. We do not have opening hours and any visit must be arranged with us first. We do welcome you to come and meet the animal you are interested in and will arrange a time for this when you call us. Thank you so much for looking at the animals we have available! If you are interested in one of the animals you see here please look over our Adoption Contract & Rehoming Fee and also our requirements for Homing. BOBO IS A 2 YEAR OLD PONY GELDING |

Bobo is a lovely Piebald Pony aged 2 years approx and he is will make 12 hands approx. Lovely kind ladies saved him as he was being ridden and badly abused & beaten for a full week and even after that his manner was perfect. He is great to load and all you have to do is tap his leg and he will lift it and he is perfect on a halter. He has been castrated and trained to a halter and he will be passported and see a farrier before he is homed and he will be vaccinated. He will make a great little riding pony for children, all he needs is a bit of re-training when he is 3 years old as he is still too young to be ridden yet but has been backed so he needs the extra year before all his backing begins. Jimmy is a lovely 4 year old black male Greyhound and he gets on great with all dogs of his own size and is being trained to smaller dogs but he is not suitable for cats. Jimmy had an accident a year ago and had to have his P3 removed from his left foot, it looks a bit odd but he walks perfect on it and will need to be excercised on soft ground but that will be no problem with Jimmy as he really is a lovely dog and will make some family very happy and he is great with all dogs from medium size up. He is very clean in his kennel and is a strong on the lead at first but he soon settles down. He is Neutered, Vaccinated and Microchipped and ready to live with you & your family. NOEL BEAUTIFUL 1 YEAR OLD FAWN & WHITE LURCHER BOY |

Noel is a beautiful 1 year old Fawn & White Lurcher Boy and he stands at 26” high, he came into me on Christmas Eve (hence his name) in a very weak emaciated state but he is now a beautiful Lurcher and he is very friendly and just loves everybody and he is great with all sized dogs and you can read his story Here He is great with all sized dogs and getting very playful here in the rescue and he just loves attention and cuddles and he is also good on his lead and his recall is improving every day and he stands at 25” high. ERICA IS A LOVELY BLACK & WHITE 4 YEAR OLD LURCHER LADY |

Erica is Lurcher lady aged 4 years approx and she stands at 26” high. and she is looking for a new home and a couch to lie on, she came into me very bad with mange and very timid but she is all better now and just loves attention and is very friendly. You can read her story Here She came into me in a very bad state with mange and fleas and her mange is now under control. She can be a bit reserved and fairly shy of men but she is a very gentle dog and is very good on her lead and is learning to be clean in her kennel and she is getting the hang of this thing called love and kindness and she us beginning to love being rubbed and petted on and is getting to love attention and she gets on great with other dogs big and small and she loves the puppies here in the rescue. Pagani is a smashing 3 year old beautiful black Greyhound. He is a lovely dog and he loves all humans and he is suitable for medium sized dogs and larger but not cats, he is being trained into smaller dogs at the moment. He is very clean in his kennel and is a strong on the lead at first but he soon settles down. He is Neutered, Vaccinated and Microchipped and ready to live with you & your family. This beauty is called Queenie and she is a beautiful 2 year old Brindle Female Greyhound. Queenie cane to me via a very kind family that she wandered into after her Tattoos were cruelly removed from her ears due to acid, you can read her story Here She is a FAB Greyhound and she is small dog friendly and is also very cat trainable and will make a FAB pet for any family but children have to be over the age of 8 as she does not understand small humans as they make strange noises and sudden movements.. Paddy is a lovely stunning looking 8 year old black Greyhound, please don't let his golden age put you off as he is perfect in all ways. He is learning to be with smaller dogs, he is a total gentleman and is very gentle ion his lead and you would never guss his age to look at him as he looks way younger than what he is. He is very clean in his kennel and is a perfect gentleman on the lead.. He is Neutered, Vaccinated and Microchipped and ready to live with you & your family. Kylie is a lovely 4 year old brindle coloured lady who retired from competing over a year ago. She has been taking it easy since then. Kylie is very pretty and does not look her age-lucky girl! She has not been demanding in the greyhound kennels and always gets on with other dogs. Kylie is content with short walks and is never fussy about what she eats! The owners 14 year old niece always enjoyed walking her as she is very gentle. |
